Annies and Laydz Manokan & Seafood Restaurant - Oton 2, located near Gaisano Capital on J.C. Zulueta Street in Oton, Iloilo, offers a genuine taste of Ilonggo and Visayan flavors in a modest yet welcoming setting. Specializing in grilled seafood and native poultry dishes, the restaurant highlights local favorites such as grilled squid, sinigang, barbecued pork, and barbecued chicken liver, delivering authentic regional flavors that resonate well with both locals and visitors.

The menu may be somewhat limited compared to other establishments, but each dish is prepared to highlight the freshness and natural tastes of the ingredients. The grilled squid boasts a smoky char, while the sinigang is a comforting sour soup that truly captures home-style Filipino cooking. Customers who enjoy traditional Bisaya lechon manok and sugba will find comfort in the carefully grilled native chicken inasal, a beloved mainstay that pairs perfectly with the restaurant’s vibrant selection of seafood offerings.

The dining experience here is complemented by a recently renovated interior that replaces pebbled floors and bamboo furniture with smooth cement flooring and sturdy gmelina wood tables. The spacious layout accommodates groups comfortably, making it suitable for family gatherings and casual dining alike. Although the comfort rooms could still benefit from updates, the overall ambiance is cozy and unpretentious, encouraging diners to relax and savor their meals.

Service at Annies and Laydz is consistently praised for its warmth and attentiveness. The staff’s friendly and accommodating nature elevates the overall visit, making every customer feel welcomed. This, coupled with Senior Citizen and PWD discounts, shows the restaurant’s inclusive approach to its patrons.

Parking is limited to only a few slots directly in front of the restaurant, but nearby street parking helps offset this minor inconvenience. Given its location near a busy commercial area, visitors can easily combine dining here with shopping or town exploration.

In summary, Annies and Laydz Manokan & Seafood Restaurant offers a flavorful slice of Iloilo’s culinary heritage, with an emphasis on fresh grilled seafood and native chicken dishes. It serves as a reliable spot for those craving authentic local cuisine in a spacious and friendly environment. Ideal for locals and tourists alike, this restaurant represents an affordable and satisfying entry point into the rich food culture of Oton and the greater Iloilo region.

Food was good, especially the Kinilaw. A bit expensive for me as the food were not prepared upon order given the price.

The food albeit lesser choices comoared to other similar food establishments, for someone whose family craves bisaya nga lechon manok and other sugba and sigang, the food is good, 7.5/10. They just recently renovated (pebbled floor to cement, kawayan tables to furnished gmelina wooden tables), i liked it. I hope they renovate the comfort rooms though. They also have ample seating space so you'll not worry during rush hours. 7/10. Service is also great. The staff is friendly and accommodating. 9/10. Fair warning, they have limited parking space, around 6 slots only, but you can easily find other spots with walking distance away from the restaurant.

Mouthwatering seafood and native chicken inasal, along with many other delicious dishes. They offer Senior Citizen and PWD discounts, so it’s a great idea to bring your elderly loved ones. We ordered the legit native chicken inasal, squid, and baked talaba, paired with a refreshing fresh mango shake. This restaurant is an affordable spot to enjoy seafood and experience the flavors of Oton. I highly recommend it to both local and international tourists. Savory and delicious food with an awesome dining experience!
